Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA, seeks a CT Tech to perform CT and CT-guided procedures under physician direction. You will educate patients and families, operate CT equipment safely, and maintain documentation and equipment readiness.

ARRT or CNMT registration is required within 2 years of hire, with potential for relocation and sign-on bonuses. The hospital is a Level I Trauma Center with extensive specialty services and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two years of hire.
• ARRT or CNMT registration is required within two years.

Responsibilities

• Perform Computed Tomography (CT) and CT-guided interventional procedures under physician supervision.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Operate CT equipment safely and maintain department documentation.
• Maintain all equipment to be clean and operational; manage supply inventory.
• Assist staff within Sentara CarePlex as needed.
