Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a CT Tech for a travel assignment in Alturas, California. The role requires performing CT imaging, working in a hospital setting with X-ray, fluoroscopy, ED, and CT services, and participating in rotating on-call duties.

The assignment runs for 8 weeks starting December 7, 2026, with 40 hours per week on 8-hour shifts and a typical window of 15:30–00:00. Healthforce provides 24/7 recruiter support and fast credentialing.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiology certification required.
• ARRT CT certification required.
• CRT Radiography and Fluoroscopy certifications required.
• 5 years radiology experience with CT experience.
• Experience in hospital-based, rotational call environments beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures and support related radiographic exams.
• Operate CT scanner and verify orders per protocols.
• Position patients and optimize imaging parameters to minimize exposure.
• Ensure image quality and perform basic QA checks per policy.
• Assist with fluoroscopy and portable X-ray procedures in ED and other areas as needed.
