Job summary

IHA is seeking a Student CT Technologist to perform CT procedures on patients of all ages in a Day Shift, Full-time role. The candidate must maintain ARRT RT certification, Oregon OBMI licensure, and a CT temporary license for cross training, with training completed within 12 months.

Responsibilities include history taking, exam appropriateness evaluation, equipment knowledge maintenance, and patient communication. Travel between SARMC and SAMC-Nampa may be required.

Qualifications

  • ARRT-RT certification and active OBMI license required.
  • Oregon license required prior to performing any services in Oregon.
  • CT temporary license (6 months) must be obtained and maintained for CT cross training.
  • Training must be completed within 12 months; temporary license renewable once.
  • BLS for Healthcare providers (AHA/ARC/Military) required at hire unless ACLS/PALS currently certified.

Skills, Knowledge, Education And Experience


  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

  • Colleague must have and maintain an active Medical Imaging License issued by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI).

  • Colleague must obtain and maintain an active Oregon license prior to providing any services in Oregon.

  • Colleague must also obtain and maintain an active CT temporary 6-month Medical Imaging License issued by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) before and during CT cross training.

  • Training must be complete within 12 months as the temporary is only renewable once with the state of Oregon.

  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS or as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.


Good To Have


  • Previous Radiologic Technologist experience in a hospital setting.
