Job summary

Asante is seeking CT Technologists to join the ARRMC CT Scanning Department in Grants Pass, OR. You will perform CT procedures with a focus on patient comfort, safety, and high-quality imaging, under supervision by a radiologist.

You will handle routine exams for OP, IP, and ED patients, explain procedures, and ensure radiation safety best practices are followed in a busy hospital imaging unit.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Radiography or Nuclear Medicine by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) with CT certification
• BLS: Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) on start
• CSCCT: Certified by the Society of Cardiovascular Computer Tomography, preferred
• OBMI temporary license may be considered with license within 1 year

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient exams that are clinically comprehensive and meet patient needs.
• Manage designated work assignments for OP, IP, and ED patients.
• Explain exams to patients and answer questions to allay fears or anxiety.
• Monitor and apply radiation safety best practices including lead shielding as necessary.
