Talented Medical Solutions has an opening for a Travel CT Scan Technologist in Tucson, AZ. 13-week assignment with potential extension, offering an hourly rate of up to $65.00 and a weekly pay package with both taxable and non-taxable components. Day and night shifts are available to accommodate hospital needs.

Start date ASAP; duration 13 weeks, with potential extension to 26 weeks. Must reside within 50 miles of Tucson and hold CT license with BLS.

Qualifications

• CT technologist licensed by state as general radiographer.
• ARRT registration required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning including head/brain, neck, chest, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities.
• Assist Radiologist under department protocols and maintain CT system and sterile procedures.

The CT Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). The CT Technologist is licensed by the state as a general radiographer and is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. The CT Technologist demonstrates proficiency at routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures including but not limited to CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities and biopsy/drainage procedures. Responsibilities also include: knowledge of processing of CT system, surgical/sterile procedure, studies with or without contrast media and cross sectional anatomy.
