Job summary

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville is seeking a CT Tech PRN to perform CT procedures with patient-centered care. You will operate CT equipment, apply appropriate technical factors, and provide diagnostic images and clinical data to the physician for interpretation, following ALARA standards.

Responsibilities include inventory management, patient scheduling, and accepting on-call duties to support high-volume after-hours coverage.

Qualifications

• ARRT RT(R) registration required upon hire.
• Advanced CT certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) must be current.
• Florida State Radiologic Technologist license required.
• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• No experience required; 6 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides care for patients requiring CT procedures and performs all related duties.
• Operates CT equipment, adjusts factors to produce diagnostic images per standards.
• Relays images and data to physicians for interpretation while minimizing dose (ALARA).
• Assists with inventory management and patient scheduling; on-call after hours.
