Job summary

Hancock Health in Greenfield, IN is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to support CAT scan imaging and pre-exam screening within the Radiology Department. The role requires proficiency with PACS, CR/DR, and HIS/RIS, plus strong organizational skills and patient-centered care.

Qualified candidates will be ARRT-registered or eligible, hold an Indiana X-ray license, and have CPR certification. Some duties may involve IV contrast administration under radiologist direction.

Qualifications

  • Must be a registered Radiologic Technologist or registry eligible.
  • Hold a current Indiana Diagnostic X-Ray license.
  • CPR certification within 3 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

  • Possess knowledge of CAT scan equipment and pre-exam screening requirements.
  • Be computer literate and understand PACS, CR/DR, HIS/RIS systems.
  • Demonstrate organization and time management skills.
  • Possess knowledge of cross-section anatomy.
  • Critique images against SOP-defined measurable criteria.
  • Capable of independent judgment with minimal supervision.
  • IV insertion competency if applicable.
  • Administer IV/oral contrast as directed by Radiologist if applicable.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities
  • Possess knowledge of Cat Scan equipment and pre-exam screening requirement within 3 months of hire date.
  • Computer literate and ability to understand PACS, CR/DR, HIS/RIS System.
  • Demonstrated organization and time management skills.
  • Possess knowledge of cross section anatomy.
  • Ability to critique images against measurable criteria as established by Radiology Department Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Does not require direct supervision for technical detail, capable of independent judgment.
  • IV insertion competency if applicable
  • Ability to administer IV /oral contrast as directed by Radiologist if applicable.

Certification/License

American Reg of Rad Techs (ARRT); Cardio-Pulmonary

Resuscitation (CPR); Computed tomography CT; Rad Tech (RT); Cert Nuclear Medicine

Tech and computed tomography (CNMT/CT).

Additional Licensure/Credential Requirements
  • Must be a registered Radiologic Technologist (registry eligible) in good standing

with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist's.

  • Must hold a current valid license with the State of Indiana as a Diagnostic X-Ray

Machine Operator.

  • Must be CPR certified, (within 3 months of initial hire date).
  • Must hold a current valid Indiana State Driver’s License.
  • CT Registry (ARRT) preferred when eligible.
