Job summary

Progeny Human Resource Solutions is seeking a Full-Time CT Tech to operate CT scanners under radiologist supervision and to assist with procedures. Responsibilities include producing CT radiographs and supervising student Radiologic Technologists while maintaining strong patient relations.

Required qualifications include an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology, CT experience, Florida state license, ARRT credentials, and BCLS. Evening, night, and weekend shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology required.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT concepts for multiple regions.

Responsibilities

• Follow established protocol under the medical supervision of certified radiologists to produce CT scanner radiographs for diagnosis.
• Assist radiologists on procedures and supervise student Radiologic Technologists; maintain good customer relations.

• Technologists will assist the radiologists on procedures as needed and be responsible for supervision of student Radiologic Technologists assigned to them. Encourages and maintains good customer relations.

CT Tech candidates will have the following job responsibilities:

CT Tech candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

Education Requirements

• Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology required
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT concepts to include head, body, MSK, spine and chest imaging

Experience Requirements:

• 1yr min CT exp required; 3 yrs CT exp preferred

Certification/Licensure Requirements

• FL State Registered Radiologic Technician License
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
• Registered Computerized Tomography Technician
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS

Experience Requirements:

• 1yr min CT exp required; 3 yrs CT exp preferred

Sal range

(2yr)- $27.17; (5 yr)- $29.42; (10yr)- $33.59; (17yr MAX)- $36.15
