Job summary

St. Anthony North Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures and provide compassionate patient care within the imaging department.

You will lead and support associates, maintain ALARA standards, and ensure high-quality imaging with clear communication to patients and the care team. The role requires ARRT registry with CT training or equivalent, a State Radiology Tech license where applicable, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• ARRT (CT), ARRT(N), ARRT(T) or CNMT registry required or ARRT (R) with CT training.
• State Radiology Tech license for those working at a Kansas site.
• BLS, American Heart Association.
• One (1) year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures, providing safety for self, patients and all other individuals.
• Practices all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, reducing personal and patient exposure to ALARA.
• Produces quality images in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
• Provides information and instruction to patient and/or family regarding the procedure and responds to their physical and emotional needs.
• Observes patient and equipment during the procedure and reports/documents unusual occurrences and records patient’s condition.
• Performs IV starts and contrast administration as required.
