Qualifications

• Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training from an ARRT-approved school.
• Current State of Utah Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT Radiography certification and eligibility to sit for the applicable CT registry.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and imaging orders; prepare patients for exams, including assistance with contrast administration.
• Position patients accurately using anatomy and physiology knowledge.
• Perform CT exams following department protocols and transmit data for radiologist interpretation.
• Evaluate image quality in real time and adjust for diagnostic-quality images.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, calibration, and report concerns.
• Adapt imaging techniques to patient age, size, and medical condition.
• Support department operations, including inventory, quality initiatives, and workspace cleanliness.
• Maintain radiation safety and infection control standards.
• Document all procedures accurately with time stamps and image storage.

Education

Completion of Radiologic Technology training (ARRT-approved school)

Current State of Utah Radiologic Technologist License

ARRT Radiography certification and CT eligibility
