Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid Florida licensure as a Certified Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT certification – Radiography (R).
• ARRT certification – Computed Tomography (CT).
• Maintains current AHA BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• Minimum two (2) years CT experience.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits professional judgment in performing imaging services while maintaining a compassionate demeanor.
• Positions patient and equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Ensures patient safety and radiation protection principles are followed.
• Complies with state and federal regulations applicable to each modality.
• Assists in supervision and training of student technologists and new staff.
• Utilizes radiology computer systems and ensures accurate documentation.
