Job summary

Iredell is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT scans across age groups, operate CT equipment, and prepare the room for procedures, with focus on patient comfort and safety. You will assist radiologists, monitor quality control, and ensure timely completion of scanning procedures in a fast-paced imaging department.

Qualifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) with CT registry preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist patients during transfer.
• Visual and auditory acuity required for fast-paced work.
• Experience moving and transporting patients and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans on newborn, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Operate CT equipment, develop films, and prepare the CT room for procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout all procedures.
• Assist radiologists at a technical level, requiring independence and minimal supervision.
• Monitor quality control and complete assigned CT scanning procedures.

Qualifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology; CT Registry preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Full range of body motion—a fit test that includes bending, stooping, standing, and sitting for extended periods; able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Visual acuity, hearing, stooping, reaching, and kneeling required for fast‑paced work.
• Experience moving and transporting patients, lifting equipment, and pushing wheelchairs or stretchers.
