AdventHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT examinations under physician orders with strict adherence to safety protocols. The role requires ARRT RT(R) certification and BLS, along with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality CT examinations in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols while ensuring optimal image quality and radiation safety standards.
• Reviews patient history, verifies exam appropriateness, and follows patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to imaging.
• Operates CT imaging equipment safely and administers IV contrast materials while monitoring patients for adverse reactions.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation within EMR and PACS systems and completes exams efficiently to support workflow.
• Practices infection control standards, uses approved PPE and disinfectants, and collaborates with radiologists and healthcare teams to support quality patient care.

Job Description:

$10,000 Sign on Bonus

Work Schedule: 4-5 shifts per week. Call required once every 8-10 weeks.

• Performs high-quality CT examinations in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols while ensuring optimal image quality and radiation safety standards.
