Job summary

The Radiology department seeks a CT Technologist to cover emergency department and inpatient exams in a fast-paced hospital setting in Oregon. There are no outpatient exams during the assignment, and a 12-hour shift is common for this 13-week contract.

Responsibilities include performing CT scans of abdomen, chest, and pelvis, handling contrast administration and venipuncture, with a daily census around 130 patients. Strong safety protocols and uninterrupted communication are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience required.
• Strong communication skills essential for fast-paced environment.
• Experience with adult acute care settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans of abdomen, chest, and pelvis.
• Administer contrast media and perform venipuncture.
• Cover Emergency Department and inpatient exams with float as needed.
• Adhere to radiation safety and isolation precautions.
