Job summary

Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) is seeking a CT Technologist to perform cross-sectional imaging and ensure quality CT studies. The role includes obtaining patient history, explaining procedures, and addressing patient concerns, with a focus on patient-centered care.

The CT Tech will position patients, start IVs and contrast, evaluate image quality, and prepare data for radiologists’ interpretation. Day shift, no weekends.”

Qualifications

• Requires Associate degree in Applied Science or similar field.
• Current ARRT certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT exams.
• Explain procedures and obtain patient consent.
• Start IVs and inject contrast as needed.
• Evaluate CT images for technical quality.
• Prepare images for transmission to PACS for radiologist interpretation.
• Assist Radiologist with questions about MIPS, 3D images, and reconstructions.
• Prepare CT orders and EMR notes; check lab values.
• Handle order and charge entry for procedures.
• Operate power injectors for IV contrast.

Education

Associates degree in Applied Science or similar field
