Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT imaging in a hospital setting while ensuring patient safety and high-quality results in line with provider orders and guidelines.

Candidates must hold ARRT CT certification, have CT imaging experience, and demonstrate strong communication, attention to detail, and adherence to radiation safety protocols. BLS is preferred, and hospital environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CT scans per orders and guidelines.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging.
• Operate CT equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, maintain equipment.
• Prepare patients and explain procedural steps.
• Review images for quality before interpretation.
• Document procedures and maintain patient records in the EMR.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians for optimal outcomes.
• Monitor imaging supplies inventory and request replenishments.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) required
• Proven experience working with CT imaging equipment
• Ability to follow radiation safety protocols

• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• BLS certification preferred
• Experience working in a fast-paced hospital or clinical environment is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct CT scans according to provider orders and established guidelines
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
• Operate CT imaging machinery, troubleshoot minor equipment issues, and ensure proper maintenance
• Prepare patients and educate them about procedural steps
• Review images for quality and accuracy before submitting for interpretation
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in the electronic health system
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff for exceptional patient outcomes
• Monitor inventory of imaging supplies and request replenishments as needed

$2,106 - $2,304/WeekEstimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
