Job summary

Atlas MedStaff seeks an Imaging Technologist for a 13-week contract at Jerome Hospital in Jerome, Idaho. The role focuses on CT and X-ray imaging in ER, inpatient, and outpatient settings, with daily volumes of 5–10 CTs and 8–15 X-ray exams.

You will use Siemens CT and Philips X-ray systems and may cover ultrasound or portable X-ray, with IV starts for outpatient CT procedures. The 10-hour night shift (6p–4a), 40 hours/week, offers exposure to a fast-paced imaging environment and opportunities

Qualifications

• Experience with CT and X-ray imaging.
• Familiarity with EPIC and PACS systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging in ER, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
• Operate Siemens CT and Philips X-ray systems as well as portable equipment.
• Start IVs for outpatient CT procedures.
• May cover ultrasound or portable X-ray; float to other facilities as needed.
• Follow protocol books and doctor preferences and reference PACS/EPIC.

Join the Imaging Services team at Jerome Hospital for a 13-week contract working primarily with CT and X-ray modalities. This role involves performing general scans in ER, inpatient, and outpatient settings, with a typical daily volume of 5-10 CT scans and 8-15 X-ray exams. You’ll operate Siemens CT and X-ray machines, Philips X-ray systems, and portable equipment, referencing protocol books and adhering to doctor preferences. The shift is a 10-hour night schedule, offering a unique chance to develop your expertise in a fast-paced imaging environment. The position also requires starting IVs for outpatient CT procedures and may include covering additional areas like ultrasound or portable X-ray, with occasional floating to other facilities. This assignment is perfect for techs comfortable working with both CT and X-ray equipment, ideally with prior experience and familiarity with EPIC and PACS systems.
