Job summary

HCA Healthcare’s South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers (STRIC) seeks a CT Scan Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures with a focus on patient safety and image quality.

You will operate CT systems, manage digital images, prepare rooms, and ensure readiness for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Responsibilities include coordinating contrast administration under physician direction and maintaining a clean, stocked lab to support daily scheduling.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program.
• Associates or higher degree.
• CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist by the Texas Medical Board is required.
• ARRT CT registry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures with attention to safety and image quality.
• Operate CT equipment and manage digital images.
• Prepare rooms and ensure patient readiness for scans.
• Identify patient age category and tailor care per protocol.
• Consent patients for contrast and document medical history.
• Maintain cleanliness and inventory of the CT lab and restock supplies.
