Qualifications

• Requires Associate's Degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology.
• Licensed or eligible for ARRT radiography (ARRT-R) and ARRT-CT within two years.
• Ability to operate CT scanners and related imaging equipment.
• Proficiency with EMR and RIS systems for patient data management.
• Commitment to ALARA and patient safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanning protocols and procedures per standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and staff to ensure timely imaging.
• Maintain licensure and continuing education requirements.
• Adhere to hospital safety guidelines and CT protocols.
• Ensure patient identification and safety per department procedures.
• Maintain equipment and initiate service repairs when needed.
• Communicate effectively with ordering providers and radiologists.
