Job summary

Medix is seeking a CT Technologist in Nashville, TN for a 13-week outpatient imaging assignment. The role involves performing 25–35 CT scans daily on a GE Lightspeed 64-slice scanner, with non-contrast and contrast studies, under radiologist supervision. Shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with no weekends or on-call.

Requirements include ARRT CT registration and BLS certification. The position pays $2,900 per week based on a 40-hour workweek and uses RIS/PACS for documentation.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT CT registration is required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform 25–35 CT scans per day in a fast-paced outpatient setting (scheduled every 15 minutes).
• Conduct both non-contrast and contrast-enhanced studies using a GE Lightspeed 64-Slice scanner.
• Produce cross-sectional radiographs of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes across all age groups.
• Administer contrast injections in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during procedures.
• Collaborate with the on-site radiologist for imaging review and workflow efficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation using RIS/PACS (InteleViewer).
• Adhere to all regulatory and radiation safety standards.
