Job summary

Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital, located in Tulsa, OK, is seeking a CT Tech for day shift and PRN coverage. The role involves performing CT imaging, patient care, and adhering to ALARA standards to ensure accurate diagnoses using advanced imaging technology.

This position requires ARRT registration and CT Registry eligibility, with BLS due within 14 days of hire. Candidates should have an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, one year of X-ray experience, and CT Registry within 12 months

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited Radiology Program is required.
• ARRT Registered is required to practice in radiology.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• One year of X-Ray experience is preferred.
• CT Registry required within 12 months of completing orientation.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic tests, patient care, and selects appropriate technical factors to insure proper diagnosis of patients.
• Operate complex imaging equipment within the department including diagnostic radiology equipment.
• Able to gain IV access for the administration of contrast.
• Ensures imaging equipment is in proper working condition and reports malfunctions to the Radiology Manager.
• Must maintain appropriate exposure levels according to ALARA standards.
• Perform technical and clerical duties as delegated by Radiology Manager.

• Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital (TSSH) specializes in surgical services, diagnostic imaging and pain management. TSSH offers state-of-the-art MRI, computed tomography and myelography technology. TSSH offers a variety of services, such as anesthesia, ear, nose & throat, general surgery, GYN, GYN/oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, plastic surgery, podiatry, radiology and spine care.

• One year of X-Ray experience
• CT Registry required within 12 months of completingorientation.
