The Computed Tomography Technologist performs diagnostic Computed Tomography and X‑ray exams (based on department needs) under the direction of a radiologist. The Computed Tomography Technologist I provides compassionate direct patient care with an emphasis on maintaining organizational values and standards of behavior. The Computed Tomography Technologist I operates diagnostic CT and X‑Ray (as appropriate) equipment to produce diagnostic images of designated portions of the body to meet the national standards for dose reduction and assists radiologists and/or physicians in the administration of contrast media and other medications as required. The Computed Tomography Technologist I is required to participate in an on‑call rotation outside of business hours based on department needs and must be able to work some weekends and holidays.
