A CT Tech, or Computed Tomography Technologist, performs CT scans, ensuring the highest level of customer service and image quality while managing the entire patient procedure. This involves preparing patients, which includes starting IVs for contrast administration and using the power injector, as well as retrieving necessary patient history and orders. The Technologist effectively communicates with patients, their families, physicians, and the radiologist, providing crucial signs and symptoms pertinent to the exam.
