Job summary

Methodist Health System is seeking a CT Technologist to join our imaging team. In this highly technical allied imaging role, you’ll perform CT imaging and assist Radiologists with interventional procedures that require CT guidance, while supporting ultrasound, PET, mammography, and nuclear medicine services.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care, adhere to safety standards, and contribute to continuous improvement in imaging quality and patient

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current ARRT certification.
• Texas Department of State Health certification.
• Work Experience: 1 year preferred.

Job Description

In this highly technical allied imaging professional position, you’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the very best imaging services, which include ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine.

The primary purpose of the CT Technologist position is to perform all the imaging and clinical duties of a CT Technologist, in addition, he/she performs special imaging techniques and assists the Radiologist with interventional procedures that require CT guidance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• Texas Department of State Health certification
• Work Experience: 1 year preferred
