Job summary

Proforma Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT scan examinations for patients of all ages, ensuring accurate imaging and patient safety.

You will operate CT equipment, position patients, maintain records, and support radiation safety and quality improvement programs.

Requirements include completion of an accredited radiologic technology program, SCRQSA license, BLS CPR within 7 days, and ARRT CT registration or eligibility.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program or nearing completion.
  • SCRQSA license required; limited license for students with permanent license within 6 months.
  • American Heart Association BLS CPR certification within 7 days of hire.
  • Preferred: ARRT CT registration or eligibility.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT imaging equipment and assess patient conditions to determine appropriate procedures.
  • Prepare examination rooms, maintain equipment, supplies, and patient records.
  • Position patients correctly, utilize immobilization devices, and provide proper breathing instructions.
  • Ensure radiation safety for patients, self, and staff.
  • Participate in departmental Performance Improvement programs.
  • Transfer and cover patients per policy, and perform related duties as needed.
