Job summary

Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is seeking a full-time CT Technologist for night shift in Cushing, Oklahoma. You will operate the CT scanner, transport patients, and prepare exams for radiologist review.

The role requires ARRT registration or eligibility, BLS within 14 days of hire, and a commitment to patient safety and quality imaging. Prior imaging experience is preferred, and you will join a supportive, patient-centered team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner and acquire quality images per orders.
• Transport patients to/from the department.
• Report results to physicians after exams.
• Start IV for contrast administration.
• Maintain PACS and image quality.
• Assist with day-to-day dept operations.

Get to Know Your Team:

• Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is a 99-bed community-owned facility offering 24-hour emergency services, cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics, diagnostic imaging, withdrawal stabilization, wound care and urology.

• This position is accountable for operating the C.T. scanner, transportation of patients to and from the department, handling telephone scheduling of inpatients and outpatients.
• The incumbent is responsible for calling the physician with the report of the exam. Must be able to start an IV line to administer contrast fluid.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions. The incumbent must be able to demonstrate proficiency in operating the PACS computer system.
• Will participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Will assist with other activities as deemed necessary for the day to day operation of the department.

Job Requirements:

• Vocational/Technical education.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.) or registry eligible.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• 1 year of experience.
