Job summary

aCardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery team in Missouri is seeking a Full Scope Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner. The role involves performing as First Assist, vein harvesting, and managing chest tubes and arterial lines in a high-acuity CTS service.

You will operate in a setting with CABG, valve replacement, TAVR, and ECMO procedures, with M-F days and rotating night and weekend call; Epic EMR is used for documentation and orders.

Qualifications

• First Assist and Vein Harvesting skills required.
• Place and remove chest tubes, arterial lines.
• EMR: Epic used in daily practice.
• Experience with CABG, Valve Replacement, TAVR, ECMO.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope cardiothoracic surgery support.
• Assist in CABG, valve replacement, TAVR, ECMO.
• Place and remove chest tubes and arterial lines.
• Rotating night and weekend call.
• Work within the Epic EMR system.
