Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA is seeking a CT Technologist.

This per diem position will work less than 40 hours per week with variable shifts, under the direction of the Department Director and in close collaboration with radiologists. The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program, hold California licensure, and maintain BLS and ARRT CT certification within the first year.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• California Radiologic Technologist license upon hire.
• BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• ARRT Radiography certification upon hire.
• Within 1 year of hire: ARRT Computed Tomography.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures according to department standards.
• Serve as a customer service representative to patients and families, the public, and medical staff.
• Participate in quality control, performance improvement, and organizational improvement activities.
• Serve as a clinical and technical resource to other technologists and to radiologists.
• Participate in call schedule and remain flexible with shifts to meet staffing needs.
