Job summary

Harris Regional Hospital in Sylva, NC is seeking a CT Tech to join our imaging team for the night shift. A $8,000 sign-on bonus is offered with a 2-year commitment.

You will review orders, educate patients, prepare contrast, monitor procedures, maintain safety and quality, and troubleshoot equipment.

Requirements include ARRT registration, BLS, ACLS and PALS within stated timelines, and 1 year of experience preferred; ASLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a 2 year certificate or higher and ARRT registration.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and physician orders.
• Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam.
• Prepares and administers contrast media within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient condition and responds to changes.
• Prepares equipment and supplies.
• Implements safety standards and quality control.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions as needed.
• Positions patient and performs imaging procedures.
• Analyzes results and addresses image quality issues.
