Job summary

Main Line Health's Riddle Hospital is seeking a CAT Scan Technologist to join the radiology team. You will perform CT procedures, verify orders, educate patients, and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced hospital setting.

This role is part-time on-site with a 36-hour weekly schedule, day shifts, and benefits eligibility. ARRT certification and a JRCERT-accredited education are required, with BLS and IV certifications preferred or required on onboarding.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience preferred.
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT (R) certification required; IV certification preferred or must obtain by onboarding; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per physician orders and protocols.
• Verify patient history and accuracy of imaging orders.
• Educate patients to ensure safety and comfort during procedures.
• Provide patient-centered care with professionalism and compassion.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety/regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with care team and work independently as needed.

• Week One: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 10:00 AM-10:00 PM
• Week Two: Monday, Friday 10:00 AM-10:00 PM, Saturday 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• 36 Hours Per Week - Benefits Eligible

Position Summary

The CAT Scan Technologist performs a variety of CT procedures while exercising professional judgment to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This role requires maintaining standards consistent with medical ethics and organizational values, delivering safe and appropriate care to all patient populations, and working independently in the provision of services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Verify patient clinical history and ensure accuracy of imaging orders
• Prepare and educate patients for procedures to ensure safety and comfort
• Provide patient-centered care while maintaining professionalism and compassion
• Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with the care team

Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum one (1) year of recent CT experience preferred

Education:

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program in Radiologic Technology required.

Licensure/Certifications:

• ARRT (R) certification required
• ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• IV certification preferred (or must obtain by end of onboarding/training)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) required
