Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions in Carlsbad, NM seeks a CT Scan Tech (Radiology) for a 13-week travel contract starting ASAP. This in-office assignment requires performing diagnostic CT exams across body regions and adherence to department protocols.

Responsibilities include CT, radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, C-arm and OR imaging, with a schedule of days, Thursdays–Sundays 10:30 a.m.–9:00 p.m., and 4 days of call per month.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited radiography program.
• ARRT-CT registered.
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience.
• State radiography license.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations (head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, biopsy/drainage).


• Conduct radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiography, C‑arm procedures, and OR imaging.


• Process CT system, manage surgical/sterile procedures, and studies with or without contrast media.


• Ensure cross‑sectional anatomy proficiency and adherence to department protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in CT.


• Minimum 2 years of primary CT experience.


• State license as a general radiographer.


• Proficiency in CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy drainage.


• Knowledge of CT processing, contrast media handling, and cross‑sectional anatomy.

Schedule & Compensation

Shift: Days, Thursdays–Sundays 10:30 a.m.–9:00 p.m.; 4 days of call per month. 48‑hr GHs not approved. No call or floating required. Scrub color: Any. EMR: Medhost.
