South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers in San Antonio, TX is seeking a CT Scan Technologist (PRN) to perform diagnostic CT procedures with a focus on patient safety and image quality. The role requires positioning, protocol adherence, and familiarity with contrast administration under physician direction.

The ideal candidate will have a radiology technology degree, CMRT certification, and a preference for ARRT CT registry.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program or equivalent.
• CMRT certification required; ARRT CT registry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT diagnostic procedures with attention to radiation safety and image quality.
• Position patients and select technical factors in accordance with protocol and radiologist preferences.
• Obtain patient history and consent; document procedures and STAT reads as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and inventory of CT lab and supply chain.
• Adhere to ACR QC requirements and department policies.
