Job summary

Big Bend Regional Medical Center in Alpine, TX is seeking a CT/Radiology Technician for a full-time role. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered with a 24-month commitment and flexible scheduling options.

The technician will obtain patient history, explain procedures, and perform CT radiography as required per departmental guidelines, using experience and judgment to achieve imaging goals in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent required.
• ARRT registration required or in process for eligible candidates.
• Experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient history, explains procedures, and addresses patient concerns.
• Produces CT radiographs as required by departmental procedures.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks with some latitude in approach.
• Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Job Summary:

• Produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as required by the departmental procedures

• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
• Typically reports to a supervisor or manager

Qualifications:

• Associates degree and completion of radiologic technology training and A.R.R.T. registration
• Experience preferred but not required
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
