Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology and NY license required.
• Current ARRT registration as radiologic technologist with CT certification target within 18 months.
• New staff must obtain NYSDOH-approved CT certification within 18 months of hire; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT and radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures, including surgery, with appropriate supervision.
• Demonstrates independent judgment and applies ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.
• Performs related clerical functions as needed.

Education

Graduate of an Approved School of Radiologic Technology

New York State License as a General Radiologic Technologist

ARRT Certification (R)

ARRT CT Certification within 18 months

Maintain ARRT registration

BLS certification

NYSDOH CT injection capability within orientation
