Job summary

Responsibilities

• Verify clinician orders and obtain patient history.
• Position patients and set up imaging equipment.
• Administer contrast media safely and ensure correct patient identification.
• Review images for quality and deliver studies to PACS.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain equipment and department cleanliness.
• Communicate with patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
• Follow infection control, radiation safety, and quality control standards.
• Assist with departmental operations, including patient transport, restocking supplies, and documentation.
