U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (DRT) with CT specialization. The role requires ARRT radiography certification, CT certification, and a post-high school radiologic technology education.

Applicants must meet credentialing standards and the grandfathering provision for existing VHA DRT staff. Strong English proficiency and a demonstrated ability to work with diverse clinical teams are essential.

Formación

• Must be ARRT certified in radiography; CT certification required.
• Education: 24-month post-high school radiologic technology program, certificate or associate degree.
• US citizenship per VA policy; non-citizens only when required.
• English proficiency in speaking and writing as required by 38 U.S.C. § 7403(f).
• Advanced ARRT certification required for CT assignments.
• Credentialing standards per 42 CFR Part 75 and DOE-recognized accreditation.
• Grandfathering provision for current VHA DRT employees as of 12/13/2019.

Responsabilidades

• Balance patient and staff needs while performing complex scans.
• Gather information from medical records and health care providers.
• Assess factors that may contraindicate procedures.
• Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures with appropriate safety practices.
