UnityPoint Health is seeking a Radiographer/CT Technologist to perform radiology and CT procedures in accordance with department guidelines at Jones Regional Medical Center. The role emphasizes patient safety, accurate documentation, and adherence to ALARA principles.

The position requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT Radiography certification, and an Iowa permit, with BLS on file or obtained within three months.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Current ARRT certification as Radiographer.
• Iowa Department of Public Health radiographer permit.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or obtain within 3 months.

Aufgaben

• Performs radiologic procedures with careful and accurate technique within department guidelines.
• Performs CT exams within Imaging Services policies and radiologist guidance.
• Maintains patient safety, uses ALARA principles, and documents procedures and history.
• Ensures proper patient identification, history, exam labeling and pregnancy documentation when applicable.
• Maintains equipment cleanliness and reports malfunctions promptly.
