Job summary

ACHE is seeking a CT Imaging Technologist to perform routine and specialized CT procedures under general supervision in the Maryland area. The role emphasizes patient care, image quality, and safety compliance with Joint Commission and state regulations.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, managing supplies, and contributing to departmental performance initiatives. The position requires ARRT licensure in Radiography and CT, Maryland radiographer licensure, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or Certificate in radiologic technology from a USDE/CHEA-accredited program.
• No experience required.
• ARRT registration in Radiography and CT; Maryland Radiographer license; Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Executes basic clinical CT imaging procedures across locations and patient types.
• Selects accurate technical factors for each patient and adheres to dose reduction principles.
• Documents patient care activities in electronic health records.
• Maintains safety and supplies, orders external vendor items, and reports equipment/environment issues.
• Participates in performance-improvement initiatives and in training activities.

Education

Associate degree or Certificate in radiologic technology (USDE/CHEA accredited)

Bachelor degree in health sciences or related field
