Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. seeks a Multimodality CT/Radiologic Technologist at Retreat Doctors' Hospital in Richmond, VA to operate CT and X-ray equipment and produce diagnostic images. Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-CT Certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.

• Vocational School Graduate credential required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis.
• Explain procedures and position patients to capture optimal images per physician request.
• Interpret scanning instructions, administer contrast, and operate CT/X-ray gear.
• Monitor supplies, prepare rooms, and assist radiologists as needed.

We are seeking an CT Rad Technologist Retreat Hospital for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Job Summary and Qualifications

As a multimodality CT/Rad Technologist, you would operate CT equipment, to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue used to diagnose medical conditions. You will prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning the patient to capture optimal images requested by the physician.

• You will accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan and X-Ray equipment.
• Assist the radiologist in administering medication and contrast agents, performing biopsies and all types of care to patients.
• Prepare examination rooms for CT scan and/or invasive procedures, as well as X-Ray.
• Monitor inventory of supplies during room rotation and maintain room cleanliness.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
