Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH is seeking a CT Multi Modality Tech to operate CT and X‑ray equipment, producing cross‑sectional images to assist diagnosis.

You will prepare patients, position them for procedures, follow physician instructions, administer contrast when needed, and support radiologists during exams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• One year CT and X-Ray experience.
• ARRT-CT Registered.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.
• Associate Degree.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT and X-ray equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis.
• Prepare patients and position them for procedures per physician instructions.
• Assist the radiologist in administering contrast and during biopsies as needed.
• Prepare exam rooms, monitor supplies, and maintain cleanliness.

Job Summary

As a Multi-Modality Technologist, you would operate CT and X-ray equipment, to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue used to diagnose medical conditions. You will prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning the patient to capture optimal images requested by the physician.

• You will accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan and X-Ray equipment.
• Assist the radiologist in administering medication and contrast agents, performing biopsies and all types of care to patients.
• Prepare examination rooms for CT scan and/or invasive procedures, as well as X-Ray.
• Monitor inventory of supplies during room rotation and maintain room cleanliness.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• One year CT and X-Ray Experience.
• ARRT-CT Registered.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
