Job summary

The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) in Anchorage is seeking a CT/MRI Technologist to provide computerized tomography and magnetic resonance imaging examinations. Qualifications

• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• CT/MRI Technologist I: ARRT registered in Radiology, CT and/or MRI.

Responsibilities

• Schedules patients for CT and MRI examinations and performs studies.
• Confers with radiologists to establish protocols for examinations.
• Administers contrast agents and conducts screening interviews.

Skills

Knowledge of diagnostic technologist principles

Skill in operating CT and MRI technology

Communication and teamwork skills

Ability to assess and prioritize multiple tasks

Skill in venipuncture

Education

High school diploma or GED
