Job summary

University Hospital is seeking a Multi-Competent Imaging Technologist to perform radiology procedures including x-ray, MRI, and CT for inpatients and outpatients. You will operate equipment, verify patient data in RIS/PACS, and ensure ALARA principles are followed.

The role requires NJ DEP licensing and ARRT certification (or eligibility), with a minimum of two years in Diagnostic Radiology and current BLS/CPR certification. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography license and ARRT certification or be ARRT eligible.
• Two years of Diagnostic Radiology experience required.
• Maintain valid BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain exams to patients per age-specific needs to gain cooperation and minimize anxiety.
• Position and image patients per departmental protocols to best demonstrate the area of interest.
• Operate and monitor radiology equipment; review images in RIS/PACS for accuracy.
• Prepare patients and provide instructions to obtain desired results.
