Job summary

ProCare Lakewood Emergency is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform CT and X-ray imaging with a patient‑centered approach and high quality results. The role emphasizes safety (ALARA) and independent judgment in a fast‑paced environment.

You will operate imaging equipment, document findings, assist physicians and nurses, collect labs, perform venipuncture, and occasionally teach/assist with EKGs. BLS certification and AMA‑approved radiology training are required; ARRT certification

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiology Technology.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT certification is preferred by state (Texas).
• 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience preferred.
• 1+ year ER experience preferred.
• 2+ year CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain imaging department equipment including X-Ray, CT and PACS.
• Perform imaging exams per policies, regulations, ALARA; notify physician on duty of results.
• Perform basic clinical procedures under physician/nurse direction.
• Maintain documentation/logs/QA for CT and DR X-Ray.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per COLA and CLIA.
• Vascular access via peripheral IV and venipuncture.
