Qualifications

• ARRT registration (Required)
• RT license in the state of practice (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
• Fluoroscopy license (where required) (Required)
• Advanced CT Certification (ARRT-CT) (Preferred)
• Venipuncture certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Operates Computed Tomography (CT) examinations per physician orders and protocols.
• Performs general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures as required.
• Assesses and monitors patients before, during, and after imaging procedures for safety and comfort.
• Produces high-quality diagnostic images and performs post-processing/reconstruction as applicable.
• Transfers images via PACS and related imaging systems for interpretation.
• Maintains accurate patient records, documentation, and billing information.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards.
• Performs routine equipment maintenance, quality assurance checks, and inventory management.
• Adheres to radiation safety and infection prevention protocols.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
