Job summary

Sanford Health in Bismarck, ND is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT scans and operate CT equipment, delivering high-quality images while ensuring patient care and safety. The role requires ARRT certification, BLS/IV within six weeks, and potential on-call responsibilities including nights and weekends. LD licensure may apply in ND.

The CT Technologist will interact with patients, physicians, and staff, and may perform related procedures such as mobile imaging and DEXA as needed.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required at time of hire.
• CT training or experience preferred.
• Licensure through state boards may be required (NDMIRT in ND).
• BLS and IV certification within six weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT scans and operate CT equipment to produce quality images.
• Provide patient care and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Possess professional judgment for procedures and protocols; orient new employees.
• Participate in on-call rotations, nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• May perform mobile imaging, EKG, cardiac monitor placement, and DEXA procedures.
