Job summary

UW School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, WI seeks a CT Technologist to conduct clinical CT exams and support research imaging protocols within the WIMR Imaging Medical Services team.

You will educate researchers on scanner operation, maintain radiation safety and HIPAA compliance, and collaborate with clinicians to advance imaging research and patient care in a dynamic on-site setting.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Clinical CT experience.
• ARRT-CT radiography or NMTCB CNMT/NCT credentials and ARRT-R.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification from AHA.
• Licensed Radiographer in Wisconsin; certification/licensing maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical information regarding instrumentation to staff, researchers, clients, and students.
• Develop, integrate, test, and modify sophisticated scientific equipment for research and clinical use.
• Assist with the preparation of grant proposals and applicable documentation.
• Design, plan, and perform preventative and reactive maintenance on equipment.
• Investigate new research processes and technology solutions with staff and clients.
• Provide technical expertise for installation and use of equipment and instruments.
• Conduct daily research and clinical CT procedures while complying with safety and HIPAA.
