Job summary

Humanitary Medical Center Inc in Tampa, FL is seeking a CT Technician to support the diagnostic imaging department by performing high quality CT examinations while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

You will operate advanced imaging equipment, maintain accurate patient records, collaborate with healthcare professionals, adhere to safety protocols, and educate patients about the scanning process to alleviate anxiety.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
Current CT Technician certification from a recognized body.
Valid state licensure to practice as a CT Technician.

Responsibilities

Perform CT examinations on patients as per physician orders.
Ensure patient safety by following established protocols and guidelines.
Maintain and operate CT equipment, ensuring it is in good work condition.
Document and maintain accurate patient records and imaging results.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss imaging findings and assist in patient care.
Educate patients about the scanning process, addressing any questions or concerns to alleviate anxiety.
