Job summary

Wellstar in Georgia seeks a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to support varied imaging services. You will prepare patients, position them, operate CT equipment, and perform procedures with attention to safety and quality.

Adhere to clinical protocols and maintain patient comfort. You will verify orders, obtain clinical history, manage contrast administration safely, and ensure accurate labeling and PACS transfer.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion required.
• ARRT certifications required upon hire.
• Minimum 1 year CT radiography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care and positioning for imaging procedures.
• Verify clinician orders and obtain patient history for procedures.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure image quality and safety.
• Administer contrast as prescribed following safety protocols.
• Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies and sterile technique.
• Document procedures and ensure proper PACS transfer.
