Indian Health Service is seeking an X-Ray Technologist (CT) to perform CT and diagnostic radiology procedures in a mission-driven setting for American Indian communities. You will operate CT scanners, administer contrast, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver high-quality imaging.

On-call duties and rotating shifts may apply, and you must meet federal radiologic credentialing requirements and background checks.

Formación

• Must meet Public Law 97-35 and 42 CFR Part 75 radiologic credentialing requirements.
• Successful completion of an accredited radiologic technology program and current certification/registration as a radiographer.
• Experience as described in the GS-07/GS-08/GS-09 level requirements for radiologic positions.

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT examinations using established imaging protocols for various patient conditions.
• Administer and monitor contrast materials with patient safety in mind.
• Operate CT equipment, select technical factors, and produce diagnostic-quality images.
• Perform quality control, radiation safety, and troubleshooting for CT operations.
• Collaborate with radiologists and providers while maintaining imaging documentation.
