Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures, produce high-quality diagnostic images, and assist with interventional and therapeutic procedures. You will evaluate radiographs, prepare scanning protocols, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

The role requires ARRT CT certification within 9 months, NJ state radiology licensure, strong communication skills, and proficiency with basic computer systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT (CT) certification within 9 months of start.
• NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images.
• Verify patient identity and ensure radiographs are of diagnostic value.
• Prepare protocols and ensure patient safety and informed consent as needed.
• Administer contrast following established protocols.
• Assist with CT-guided interventional procedures as required.
• Maintain and QA CT equipment and document procedures.
